My colleagues and social followers have come to know that I am an advocate using “leadership smarts and strategic communications to change the world.”  These attributes reflect my life’s purpose: to make a difference in my neighborhood, my city, my world; to speak up and out when it comes to treating people fairly; to share what I’ve learned with others, and to be imaginative in finding answers to big questions and solutions to big problems.

This blog is inspired by people I’ve worked with, learned from, and been mentored by.  Here I’ll discuss leadership tips and strategies, particularly those geared toward women — from millennials to “grown-up Girl Scouts” who want to step into their leadership professionally and in all aspect of their lives.

Having lead dynamic and diverse teams in nonprofit, foundation, corporate, government and political organizations, I bring 20 years of experience in advocacy for children and communities of color to leadership development and team building.

I look forward to our conversations.
